Laura Drake, one of my critique partners at Writers In The Storm sent me this link to the 10 Worst Book Covers In the History of Literature.
Here’s the cover that dominated our dinnertime discussion last night (and had me in a heap on the floor)…
This cover gave me an amazing belly laugh, but it was my husband who gave me a…
Choking on my drink
Tears running down my face
In a helpless heap on the floor
Kind of laughing attack
When he observed that “it was really good thing they put the word ‘Big’ before ‘Coloring’ (and not ‘Vaginas’).”
I’m going to be snickering about this all weekend long. How about you?
Jenny
p.s. Don’t forget that we have our interview with PREEMIE author, Kasey Mathews right here tomorrow!! And we’re giving away a copy of her book to one lucky commenter. π
I love this book! Whenever I feel an artistic flare to be creative with beige and pink – this is the book I turn to. Bahahahaha!

Um, and she called you a Blog Ho right here on the Big Vagina Blog Post. Irony? Or simply coincidence…..

Renee’s pretty sweet…I’m thinking simple coincidence. She’s not naughty like we are. π

Okay, the cover is, ahem, not a stellar use of colors. But–the book itself?? The BIG Coloring Book of VAGINAS???? What would prompt anyone to produce such a book: Now I have to go to work trying to to giggle every ten seconds at the impulse to buy a copy for select politicians.

Jenny – you have helped us all with this gift for that special someone in our life! Reading all these comments are the 2nd 1/2 of the post!

Still laughing about the penis crayons! OMG. I’m with my son who is getting cancer treatments in Houston and he just shook his head — “writers.” Of course he includes his poor ol’ mom in that comment. What can I say, my husband delcared years ago, that I have a kinky sense of humor. But I must say, if laughture is as good for your health as they, then we had a good healing experience. π Keep ’em coming.
