Q is for Quick Giggle – Visit with Sister Myotis (of Christian Panties fame) #AtoZchallenge

Photo from paulaprass.blogspot.com

Welcome to Thoughty Thursday! This is the day of the week that y’all get to be privy to whatever thoughts are kicking around in my brain.

I’ve been working on an Undie Chronicles Unveiling so I’m thinking about Sister Myotis.

You all remember her from the Christian Panties post we did last Fall, right?

Note: I’ve included the video below in case you missed it. (That would be a shame, and you MUST give it a view.)

I love Sister Myotis (played brilliantly by actor, Steve Swift)! When she talks about thong underpants, I start giggling:

Here’s a newer video of her, getting ready to go perform Off-Broadway in 2010 in a show called Bible Camp (Two words: Scobby. Do.):

I hope you get your giggle on as hard as I do over the Sister. She rocks…

What’s making YOU laugh this week? Enquiring minds love to know these things here at More Cowbell!

I have not seen Sister Maripat! Is she the gal from Late Night Catechism? I wanted to see that when it was in my neck of the woods and I missed it. 😦

      Glad you enjoyed Sister Myotis!

  3. Hello, Jenny! Heehee, thanks for the chuckles!

This week I’ve been reading my Calvin & Hobbes treasuries and those two make me laugh out loud! And my husband makes me laugh every day. 🙂

Have a wonderful week and happy A to Z!

I love Calvin and Hobbes, Laura! I must have 5 of those books. Good for you. And kudos on marrying someone who makes you laugh. To me, that’s the whole point of spending your life with somebody!

Happy A to Z to you too. 🙂

  4. My wife makes me laugh every time she gets in her car. I never know what county she’ll end up in. She should have a GPS, but she’d never understand how to use it. (People think I’m low-tech!)

  5. Love the Sista! I was listening to an old 1975 radio interview in the car the other day – British comedians Dudley Moore and Peter Cook – and laughing out loud through it all. (I’m sure you are too young to know them!) Truly funny guys! British humour just cracks me up.

Two guys in drag tossing panties at the audience. Cryin’ out Amen! The people who accuse the Left-Wing Devils corrupting the masses. Sister Myotis is scary. Somebody out there is taking him/her seriously. Scooby Doo funny though.

  9. I STILL love Sister Myotis!

Is it just me, or does her name sound like an eye disease?

    My otis! My otis!

Hilarious! I tend to find the most humor in word plays and when an average experience gets silly (like your dating and undies posts). Since you shared a video, I’ll share one from a favorite comedian of mine — Bob Smiley. Here he is on wedding vows: http://youtu.be/7_m1AClar8c
