4 More Cowbell-ish Things

This is a big week here at at More Cowbell, even if it doesn’t look like it. Here’s what’s going on:

• ROW80 officially ends today.

This was my first ROW80 and it was eye opening. I will be approaching things differently the next round with time and milestone goals, rather than word goals, for my WIP. I seem to get a lot more done that way.

I did manage to read Gene Lempp’s update (on my phone) and he pretty much said everything I wanted to in his post on ROW80 today. I loved Sonia Madeiros’ post and Nicole Basaraba’s as well. Nicole knocked it out of the park on her goals. 🙂

We’ve set a date for our ROCK THE ROW party to correspond with the start of Round 4 (October 3-December 22nd). The party will be on October 5th, ALL DAY, that first day of Check-in. More details are coming in the next week or so but save the day. We’re gonna have a big extravaganza. 🙂

• I am currently on a family vacation

 I’m traveling through Missouri, letting the family hang out with Baby Girl. (She’s been a HUGE HIT!) This is the first time I’ve traveled since starting my blog and, despite scheduling as much as I could in advance, it was still a bit stressful. (I’m the admin goddess at Writers In The Storm this month too.)

The one downer on the trip is the seriously crappy coverage. I don’t know if this is because we’ve had storms or if it’s because I have some technically challenged relatives but it’s been dismal trying to connect to the internet – I was hoping to catch up on some of my peep’s blogs when I actually had free time. Perhaps the universe is encouraging me in a complete vacation? I haven’t decided yet…

Suffice it to say that when I get back there will be posts on the happenings and funny moments of my trip. I mean, who knew there were soooo many tattoo parlors in Branson?

• Tiffany Lawson – Naked Editor had an awesome post here on 9/20.

• Tomorrow is the Life List Club Milestone Party!

There’s a ton of prizes being given away (TWO prized by yours truly!) and a ton of celebrating. We’ll be reporting on our goal progess and inviting you to do the same. I hope you stop by tomorrow and join in the fun. 🙂

Last but not least…Did you know that Alec Baldwin will be breaking a record as the most frequent guest host on Saturday Night live this weekend? I just thought I should let you know in case you’re gonna be on vaca on Saturday night too. You’ll need to add SNL to your vacation schedule. 🙂
