The Bloggess has inspired me with her MAGIC!

Seriously, does anyone make the everyday seem cooler and more fun than the Bloggess? Plus we have the same

Cranky note: I’d really like to know why everyone else gets cute animals doing fluffy cute things, and the Jennys get a half-naked fat white guy dancing (badly) at a sporting event. It must be all my dancing-in-weird-possibly-illegal-places college karma coming back to haunt me.

In case you need to see this trainwreck for yourself:

Where have I been? Mostly suffering the plagues from Hell right here at the Hansen house. I wish I was exaggerating, but it’s been six weeks that felt like six months over here. Six weeks of working and mom-ing and passing around the stomach flu while combating a bizarre nearly-untreatable sinus infection. But we have survived. Nay, we have triumphed! (<–channeling my inner ancient gladiator.)

Now I’m counting down the final days of the school year until the summer. My kid likes to sleep in during the summer, which means some mornings I get to wake up when the time has an eight in it. WOO!

I hope you enjoy the heck out of the Bloggess and her Hot Dog Church Magic Show – I sure did. And I hereby promise to dust off the Cowbell and get back to a more regular blogging schedule over here. I miss my peeps when I am away!

That pirate ship chandelier was AMAZING. I love that she finds things like that and then names them. Do you remember Beyonce, the metal chicken?? I think that post and “smell my eyeballs” are when I went off the deep end in love with her. 🙂

It was absolutely wonderful to find your blog in my e-box. I must say you have been under a deluge girlfriend. I know the feeling. We had the flu here aaaannnnd a sinus infection also. What’s that about? And we moved! So no blogging going on here. Although I have one in progress. Ya never know. But it’s been literally months since I’ve posted anything. So no worries. Life happens. But you’ve been missed!!!! ((Hugs)) ❤

I missed you too, Karen. And WHAT THE EFF on the cooties this year?? Why are they so strong, and why do they all end in a sinus infection?

I don’t know what is up with all the strong viruses. Especially the stomach flu. This year has been awful. And I’m done with it. Now to face the summer months. It will be 120 here on Tuesday. I am so not looking forward to that. Thank God for air conditioning! So go to the beach. Dip your toes in the Pacific for me. Have a Fish taco at Bear Flag. Take a walk on the pier. Enjoy your time with the Bean and say hello to the Hubby! ((Hugs)) ❤️

Yes! The norovirus hit my house TWICE. That’s just wrong. I promise to do all those things for you. And I will feel terribly sorry for you about that 120 degree nonsense. I’m having hot flashes every five minutes over here so the idea of being even HOTTER makes me shudder.

Just “roll” with it sugar, lol. The guy was funny at least. No sneezing while you are laughing though.
