Humongous Dreams and the Wilds of Colorado

If y’all see me hanging out chatting ANYWHERE online for the next five days, I give you leave to shake your finger at me. I will be “immersing” with Margie Lawson, which is like getting the Keanu Reeves “Matrix upload” of shiny information and skills.

I don’t know that it will be MORE fun than hanging out with the posse here…

Handerpants with Me and GloriaHanderpants with Me and Jess

But it’s going to be pretty darned mind-bending and exciting.

Note: That’s Gloria Richard and Jess Witkins above in a Handerpants moment.

For me, learning with Margie is a dream I’ve had for many years. More importantly, it is a commitment I made before:

  • The hip surgery
  • The vertigo
  • The contest finals
  • The Hubster’s heart scare
  • And Babykin’s current wicked case of croup

All those things are fine, I promise you. Even my daughter, who is barking like a seal whenever she coughs, will be fine. But the journey has felt outrageously hard.

I need to remember that. I hope you will too. Stuff works out, if you just keep at it.

What big dreams are you realizing this Fall? My very inquiring mind will want to come find this out…in about five days. 🙂 In the meantime, feel free to spread out a little, have a party and ring those cowbells!

Ciao,
Jenny

So, so, so happy for you! And proud. You’ve learned so much in the past year – mostly, that you don’t need to run to be sucessful – just tiny steps, every day!

I’m going to be thinking about you, and all the fun you’re going to have. Call me as SOON as you touch down when you get back!

    MUAH!

I know you won’t see this ’til you get back, but you go, girlie! So happy for you and awed by your commitment and perseverance. You’re going to rock it! And I’m sure you’ll have a blast all the while. Hugs. 🙂

Husband’s heart scare??? Say what! Holy Cowbell Jenny! I do hope hubby is okay and that the bean is feeling better soon. You are going to have a terrific time and learn all kinds of really cool stuff. I am so happy for you! I hope you’ll share when you return. We’ll miss you! What’s up with me? Yes, well, we finally found a wonderful surgeon who is running all sorts of tests to get down to the bottom of my hubby’s situation. Finally, I must say. But they think there is a infection in the bone. When the results are all in, they are scheduling surgery. Yay! Great news. So that’s what I’ll be up to in the next couple of weeks. 🙂

  7. Well good for you. Margie is a treasure trove of good information. Tell her I said “hello and bitch kitties rule.” She’ll know what that means (I hope).

My dream this fall was to go to Alaska and now I can say – mission accomplished. On to the next big adventure.

    Learn alot with Margie.

Handerpants!!! Who says you can’t wear them to class? Freedom of fashion, baby! And if you don’t put those things to good use, send em my way cuz it’s freezing in Wisconsin and I’ve been using my fingerless gloves!

Enjoy class with Margie! What an experience. Hope you and the fam stay on the road to recovery and that the muse is in the house! (bear hug)
