10 Reasons Why I’m Laughing My A$$ Off Today

10-number_photopinI just discovered 10 Reasons Why and Emily Hartridge is killing me.

I was on YouTube to look up Minnie Mouse’s Bowtique for Babykins and what do I see at the top of the page?

Vaginas Are Awesome…10 Reasons Why. How do you NOT click on that?

Well I did, and I laughed my guts out. (Reason #2 is “ping-pong.”)

Then I watched 8 more videos and followed her on Twitter. This gal admits she’s full of B.S., which I can always appreciate. Finally, I had to step awa-a-a-y from YouTube and get over here to share it with all of you. I haven’t giggled through so many videos since I discovered Talk Boston.

First of all, shoo your kids out of the room if you’re going to watch these videos.

This gal is British and she’s crass, and she curses as much as Chuck Wendig (who I also love). If cursing freaks you out, do NOT watch these videos.

Here’s 10 Reasons Why Children Don’t Need to Watch her Shows:

5 “Emily videos” that made me laugh:

She made me miss my pal Sally (also from the UK). Many years ago, Sally taught me words like squiffy, knackered and wanker. [And just recently, my other pal from across the pond, Donna Newton, taught me how to “bung my bags.”] The Brits just have a marvelous way of speaking, in my opinion.

Do you love British humor or find it confusing? What’s your favorite show from another country? Did you have a favorite video of the ones above? Enquiring minds love to know these things here at More Cowbell!

How have I missed this little slice of heaven? Emily Hartridge had me having a great Monday morning laugh. Thank you!

We went to England this summer after traveling through France. The English speak their own language and I couldn’t understand anyone or the signs. The French watch American TV and speak our kind of English!
    Hilarious video!

    • Jenny Hansen says:

LOL. I traveled there for work several years back and was lucky enough to meet Sally, who explained the native language to me. I am dying to find that travel journal. If I do, there will be like 15 blogs out of it I had the best time! And I wrote down EVERYTHING that made me laugh, so I filled the journal. 🙂

  3. Little Britain….’nuff said……

  4. Omg…these were too funny! She’s awesome! I love the boob one 🙂 Hehehe

  5. Absolutely LOVE her sense of humoUr, her snark, and THAT ACCENT! I want that accent.

Absolutely! The Brits have fun words. I have pages and pages of notes I pulled from Google on British slang words. I’d list them here, but 1) I’m saving them for a post, and 2) I can’t find them.

Where else can I say “keep your pecker up!” and not have a drunken sailor, a baker, and a candlestick maker follow me home? Although, depending on the size and circumference of candles that maker fancies…

    Erm. Never mind.

    • Jenny Hansen says:

I can’t wait to see that post, Gloria! And my goodness, it’s fabulous to see you back here at More Cowbell!!! I trust you survived the mood with your good humor, your back and your marriage all intact?

  6. I’ve never heard of her, but she’s very funny! It doesn’t hurt that she’s attractive and is (British?) Now I have somebody to fawn over while my wife is doing the same over any number of her favorite British actors. Lol. Have you ever watched Jenna Marbles on Youtube? She’s silly too.

    • Jenny Hansen says:

I have watched Jenna Marbles and she totally makes me laugh with her antics. And no, Emily’s gorgeousness doesn’t hurt her at all. Do you and your wife sit side my side with your iPads, ogling away, or what?

  7. tomwisk says:

I just spent a half hour with Emily. I’m trying to subscribe she is perfect, pretty, funny and just dirty enough.

  8. Donna Newton says:

‘Bung your bags’, will I never live that down? Lol.

  9. tomwisk says:

Reblogged this on tomwisk and commented:
Everyone needs Emily Hartridge in their lives. Okay, not Everbody.

  10. The Regular Guy NYC says:

This made my Monday! Not only is she funny, but she has that cool English accent, and is quite easy on the eyes!

Not as sexy as you are Jenny, but she is up there!

  11. Hilarious! I’m subscribing too!

  12. That vagina video is priceless! Thanks for the laughs. 😀

  13. K.B. Owen says:

Jenny, you’re so fun! I’ve bookmarked this for later giggles. 🙂

  14. Oh, good goolie woozie! Those were fabulous! Thanks for sharing. I can actually think of a couple reasons I might use some of these videos. 🙂

  15. Eden says:

Lots of laughs and giggles, Jenny. Thanks! It made the day more cheery.

And a second thanks for the links to Julie’s interview of Donna. It made me miss the UK even more, but in a happy nostalgic way.
